Industry and Titling Analysis

Industry

There are many industries in which we could class as institution and distributers for movies. Below is a list of a few different industries that many people may know quite well due to some previous popular films that they have made;

1. DreamWorks  - This is a privately own organisation situated in America which was founded in October 1994 by three of the most well know producers which have created hit blockbuster movies, these people are: Steven Speilbergh, Jeffery Kenzenbergh and David Geffen. This organisation does not just make movies but they develop, produces and distribute  as well as video games and Television prgramming. Later on in the line, the organisation partnered off in order to make a more successful company with such industries as Paramount and then later on an Indian industry which brought a lot of money to the organisation. Now it is a well known industry which has made fils under the name of Antz, Shrek 1 and 2, Kung Fu Panda and more, as you can see from these names films they are all animated but they do not just specifically stick to this type of movie. 
2. Universal - This is an industry that is also situated in America founded in June 1912 by Carl Lealemmle, making it one of the oldest organisations to date. This too is a business that produces and distributes movies to countries all over the world. It soon became partners with an English film industry 'Working Title' where it wouldnt just distribute there own films, but also the ones in which 'Working Title' made. Some of the films that come under this industry are: Jaws, Jurassic Park, Back The Future. Films in which 'Working Title' made are: Love Actually, The Boat That Rocked, Three Weddings and a Funeral.    
3. 20th Century Fox - This American based industry was founded in 1915 by William Fox, it was then changed to the more well known name of 2oth Century Fox by Darrly F. Zanuck along with three other members that are not really known of to the public. This organisation did have a range of many different partners that joined into the company but it was still known as the famous 20th Century Fox.They have produced and distributed many films that are well known, some of them are: Avata, Star Wars, Night at the Museum, Home Alone, The Simpsons Movie. AS you can see it ranges from a list of animated films to ordinary movies.

Titling

When these sorts of organisations are going through the stages of editing, they include a number of people who worked on the many differnent sections of the film as credits/titles which show the aduience who have been involved and is some sort of recognistion for the people themselves. There can be a lot of names that come under the titling like the producer, director, actors, sound,editing, makeup and any other people that have played some part in the production of the movie, however some will come at the start which are the main ones whereas the less important ones will come at the end.
