Post apocalyptic abandoned community where a survivor now has to fend for himself as there is no civilisation around him.
He starts to think about his girlfriend who was brutally killed while all of attacks were taking place, as he went to go and find some food supplies.
The savages snuck into the house and murdered her for food as every survivors that was left on the earth turned to cannibalism.
Mark receives radio signals from a safe camp which is leading him to safety but then becomes caught up in them that he soon starts to believe he is talking to his dead girlfriend who he was very much in love with.
While trailing along the long journey to the Scottish Highland his condition deteriorates as he is now becoming a conscious person where any little sound he hears causes him to defend himself even if it is something minor.
He narrowly escapes an attempted attack by one of the savages but he is unable to take it anymore, he still gets to radio signals telling him their position to make sure that he is on the right track. But where he thinks it is his girlfriend he starts to feel as though her death was his fault and suffer a great deal from depression and guilt.
Along the way he finds two terrified survivors that he vows to keep safe and take them to the safe came, days away from them reacting their goal Mark sadly kills himself as the pressure of looking after people when he couldn't look after his girlfriend takes its toll on him.
The two young boys that were with him knew that there was nothing possible to help him as they watched him get even more worse then he was by himself so they carried on to react the Scottish Highlands.
The next day they arrive at the camp where the radio signals Mark was getting turned out to be 100% real and he had killed himself for no reason.
