Script (Long Winter)
A Brit Film Production

Scene One

Ext
Wide panning shot, Slowly brining the character into the frame
One: In an abandoned run down shed, main character looks at a photo of his girlfriend.
Ext
Long Shot, Getting closer to the main character over the next few shots
Two - Flash back: Starts establishing who that main character of the Long Winter is.
Ext
Zoom In shot to the picture of the girlfriend
Three: Slowly moves into the photo in which the character is holding.

Fades in to the FLASHBACK

Scene Two

Int
Pan shot establishing the main character and his girlfriend
One: Sitting on the sofa in the living room enjoying quality time together.
Int
Still Medium Shot
Two: Girlfriend and Boyfriend sitting down hugging one another, main character making a slight glance at his girlfriend to show their connection .
Ext
Over The Shoulder Shot
Three: Watching T.V still whilst on the sofa, Main character looks out of the window from behind as if he has noticed or looking at something.

Fades out of FLASHBACK

Scene Three

Ext
Close up Shot
One: Slight angle shot from the side of the main character, making a movement to eat something from out of a can.
Ext
Point of View Shot
Two: someone watching the main character quite closely following his every move.

Still Wide Long Shot
Three: Hears something in the distance, gets up from his position sharply to investigate what it is taking his gun for protection.

Tracking Shot following character while he is walking
Four: Going to check out if there is anything near his safety shelter with his gun.
Ext
Point of View Shot
Five: Attacker is watching the main character approach him and watching what he is doing but staying hidden and quiet.

Over The Shoulder/Point of View Shot
Six: Main character looking out into the overgrown greenery next to his safety place.

Close up Shot
Seven: Establishing what the characters appearance is to the audience and gradually starts moving away into the other corner.

Point of View Shot
Eight: Attackers getting even more closes as he or she sees his opportunity to attack.

360 Degree Rotation Shot
Nine: Going around the character creating a tense atmosphere.

Close up Shot
Ten: Showing us the attackers weapon of which he is going to use to harm the main character (survivor), quickly across the shed to reach towards the survivor.

Extreme Close up Shot
Eleven: Showing the main characters eyes, showing the characters fear of the situation that he is in.
Ext
Over The Shoulder Shot
Twelve: Showing the attacker finally reaching the main character, cutting off before we are able to see what happens.
