Animatic

Above is our animatic that we have designed for our 2 minutes opening sequence. We have used colouring pencils and some plane paper to draw the story shot - by shot and then we took some pictures of it and edited on the computer. The animatic was there to help us understand the story clearly and also to know how to start filming the movie so we know what order everything goes in. Some changes were made and not everything was applied according to the animatic. This is because we changed the number of actors from a big group to only a few people as it would be a lot clearer, we also changed the location as it was much more easier to travel somewhere that was local and we all knew quite well. This meant that we felt as though it we had made the right decisions to make our movie as successful as possible. The animatic was very helpful for us as we knew where to start and what to film first and how long each scene will last for. The animatic was there to help us start off with our 2 minutes opening and as you can see we have used different camera angles to demonstrate different things and also to show the main character in different situations.
